Inquiry to company made August 22, 2019. Response received on August 22, 2019 with the following statement: "Eastman Chemical Company employment agreement does not require mandatory arbitration of sexual harassment claims that may be brought by current or former employees." On August 23, 2019​​​​​​​, Force the Issue sent a follow-up / clarification question asking if Eastman simply doesn't include arbitration language or if workers are required to opt out of required arbitration. Received a response on August 23, 2019 stating the following, "Eastman has never included an arbitration provision in its employment agreement, and today, there is no opt out option. There is simply no arbitration provision at all."
