Inquiry to company made August 22, 2019. Response received from La-Z-Boy Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Kathy Liebmann with the following statement, "La-Z-Boy does not require arbitration for sexual harassment claims in our corporate policy or employment agreements."
When asked a follow up question about whether arbitration language simply is not present or if the company requires arbitration with an opt out clause, company responded, "We do not have an arbitration provision for sexual harassment or other discrimination claims, neither in our corporate policy on sexual harassment nor in our onboarding materials."
